WELCOME TO THE NALBB

According to the American Horse Council's 2023 Economic Impact Study (horsecouncil.org) the US equine industry supports: almost 7 million horses; contributes 77 BILLION dollars to the GDP; and encompasses 30 million horse enthusiasts.

Parts of the US equine industry are booming while others, such as lesson and boarding barns are struggling.

We want to change that. Become part of the conversation and solution by joining the National Association of Lesson and Boarding Barns. All membership levels support the work of NALBB. The more members we have the more work we can do.

Our Mission

NALBB supports the Lesson and Boarding Barn industry by providing our members a central place to network, obtain needed resources and to promote their individual businesses and our industry.

Our Goals

Commission a study to quantify the lesson and boarding barn industry. We need a baseline for the number of lesson and boarding barns and their economic contributions at the regional and national levels to outline our true power.
Define our largest business challenges: Getting consensus around our biggest challenges is the first step toward formulating solutions.
Provide a supportive community and needed resources to lesson and boarding barn business owners: With podcasts, discussion forums and networking opportunities through our national directory. NALBB strives to educate and provide access to business building resources.
Engage vendors and suppliers that are dependent upon our success: Companies selling equine products to business owners, boarders and riders should work side-by-side with us to grow a profitable and sustainable lesson and boarding barn industry.
